Ms. Wright graduated magna cum laude, from Georgia State University in
1990 and received her JD from the University of Geogia School of Law in 1995. Ms. Wright is a member of the Georgia
Bar.
Ms. Wright gained valuable jury trial exprience serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Georgia.
As a prosecutor, she successfully tried more than 30 jury trials. After leaving the District Attorney's office, Ms.
Wright was brought back as a special prosecutor to try a rape, kidnapping, and aggravated battery case.
After leaving the District Attorney's office, Ms. Wright worked for a sophisticated Atlanta
litigation firm specializing in insurance coverage disputes. In 1998, Ms. Wright opened
her own law practice in Atlanta, representing plaintiffs in all forms of personal injury cases.
Ms. Wright found her calling in trying cases and representing individuals who do not ordinarily
need the counsel of attorneys, but due to an injury or loss, need an experienced, aggressive attorney.
In 1996, Ms. Wright worked with Ms. Charlotte Perrell in founding the New Lawyers Section of the
Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. The Georgia Trial Lawyers Association allows Georgia plaintiffs attorneys
to belong to one organization with a single interest: representing injured individuals. Ms. Wright and Ms.
Perrell also served in the Bleckley Inn of Court together, an invitation-only Inn of Court.
In 2004, Ms. Wright and Ms. Perrell founded Perrell & Wright. With Perrell & Wright,
Ms. Wright and Ms. Perrell wanted to create a new definition of practicing law: each partner working cooperatively
on all firm matters, accepting fewer cases and spending time touching and feeling each piece of paper which make up a
case file, not utlizing paralegals or inexperienced attorneys to manage cases, attending all dispositive hearing
and trials as a team, and knowing the names of all their clients children. In other words, go back to the practice
of law as it was fifty years ago.
Ms. Wright and Ms. Perrell have extensive trial and appellate litigation experience in the federal
and Georgia courts and together have settled millions of dollars of cases. Ms. Wright and Ms. Perrell both employ
all of the latest technology and operate a paperless office with every document scanned into an extensive case management
system. Ms. Perrell and Ms. Wright are practicing together due to their passion for litigation and trial work.
Ms. Wright is committed to community service work as well as law and currently serves on her neighborhood's
Historic Preservation Committee. In 2005-2006, Ms. Wright was the President of Druid Hills Friends, a charity supporting
Childrens Hospitals.
